Do you mean Old Jamaica?

I don't know of anyone producing a similar bar these days.

My local mini mart are currently selling big bars of Cadbury's Rum and Raisin....I'm assuming these are for some foreign market?

Cadbury's Rum and Raisin is made in Eastern Europe for that market.  However, it does occasionally appear over here as a 'grey import', most often seen in mini marts, market stalls, pound shops etc.  (You won't find it in Tesco.)

Old Jamaica is discontinued.  Rum and Raisin is similar, but with milk chocolate rather than blended milk and plain.

They were selling bars of cadbury's rum and raisin in Sweets from Heaven at Lakeside in Essex yesterday.  Don't know if there is one near you but they seem to be in all the big shopping malls.

I used to die for Old Jamaica!  There's nothing like the taste of rum soaked raisins in chocolate.  Uh, oh, mouth's watering again!

Claire,

Where exactly in Lakeside is 'Sweets from Heaven'?

Lakeside is not a million miles from me, but I don't fancy trudging round the whole damned place looking for the shop. ;-)

Cheers....

On the bottom level near Marks and Spencer and Whittards.  Also one on the bottom level of Bluewater.  Be warned they overcharge for everything even for a humble Kitkat that you can buy for half the price in woolies.  The day I went they had top Deck, astros, Lunch Bar and Caramello to name a few delights.
