Title: Chocolate - milk, dark or white?

With the news that people are now buying more dark chocolate than ever before, I thought it'd be nice to see what people prefer.

Personally I like milk, dark and white, but prefer dark to have someting else with it to break up the bitter taste.

I think it's a shame that white chocolate seems to be getting less popular. I know most people hate it, but I wonder what will become of it in 10 years time. I miss white chocolate Smarties

Milk chocolate is my favourite but I eat all kinds of chocolate. Nothing bitter for me though thanks

Milk is my favourite, but I love all chocolate. Also it depends on what you put with it - for example I like mint with dark choc and milk, but I'm less keen with white (such as those white After Eights they did a few years back).

Oh yeah those were horrid White choc goes best with things like strawberry. It seems odd to me that Nestle took so long to bring out a MILK CHOCOLATE version of Afetr Eight.

Definitely milk. I HATE dark , and am not keen on white. The only white choc thing i like is the snowflake, and the options white hot choc. What was that cadbury solid white bar called? It was bleurgh anyway

I think she was referring to was because Cadbury Dream has become scarce.

The small bars used to be near every checkout but I haven't seen them in ages.

Bought one yesterday - from a cheap shop though, along with Aero Bubbles and Aero Truffle, so I expect its days are numbered.

More likely it was short date. Places like Poundland and Home Bargains regularly have Cadbury's Caramel and Fruit and Nut - I very much doubt these are being discontinued.

I wouldnt be surprised if Aero Truffle gets discontinued as it is boring and a lot of people have said so.

Well yes, I wouldn't be surprised if that and Aero Bubbles are on their way out as Nestle are discontinuing many brands - it's Dream I don't see going.

Aero Bubbles won't be going I don't think, they have contributed a lot of sales growth to the Aero brand so I read, along with Aero Caramel.

in order of preference dark,milk then white  but in a crisis anything will do

I'm munching my way thro a box of celebrations as I type!! - Maltezers n marathon - defo milk - Bountys - defo plain (tho scarce these days) milky way? bring out a dark version n the forum will get bak to u! evrythin else crap! Where are the bloomin topics!!???????

I too can eat almost anything in a crisis. But I never let myself get that desperate.
