Title: False advertising
Post by: kevvosa on October 10, 2006, 01:50:41 pm
I bought a box of Ainsley Harriott "Low cal - hi taste" soup recently, which tastes . On the packet it says stuff like "Warm and wonderful...soooo delicious!" and Ainsley says: "Tease your tastebuds with this delicious mouthwatering soup. Low cal and packed full of flavour too!"

Surely this is false advertising? The soup IS low calorie but certainly NOT mouthwatering or full of flavour.

Golden Delicious apples have been getting away with this for years.

I haven't tried the soup, but Ainsley's chocolate heaven bars didn't do much for me.

I think his mushroom soup is delicious!  I'm not talking about a low cal one though.
