I used to shop in Aldi. They have nice selections of chocolates and biscuits, amongst other things.

I love going to Aldi every now and then - for extras not my main shop. It feels a bit like shopping abroad with all their different things!

I love both of them - again not for a main shop but for bits and pieces.

I like Lidl and, like Bethypoos, shop there for extras. I like their chocolates and jaffa cakes a lot! I love how they sell odd things every now and again.

As for Aldi, I have never been.

Agreed. I used to love the glass bottles they did years ago too. Plastic just isn't the same.

Were they the ones with the crackly wrapper?

Not sure. The large bottles always had a crackly wrapper on, but I think the bottles were plastic?

i used to love the taste of coke from those old-fashioned non-enviromentally friendly styrofoam cups they used in the 70's and 80-'s. mmm. screw the enviroment - bring em back! they made the coke taste amazing!
