A complaint that a group of twitchers "hounded" a rare starling to death will not be investigated, the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds has said.

It comes after one of its members  reported the "thoughtless" behaviour of about 30 bird watchers in Winterton, Norfolk.

I heard about this on the radio and it really upset me. Then i sawthe story in the paper but i could not read it.

No, I have been in Norfolk for a week but I am not a twitcher just a plain old ornithologist.
