It is also my no.1 sons birthday today too! He is 13 today! (well actually yesterday now!)
He is flying back from 10 days in Santa Barbara tonight..... hence I am up late tracking his flight.
I rang BA earlier to tell them he would be flying home on his birthday. They said they would try and mention him on the flight. The lady asked me if he would be embarassed. I said "Yes... extremely... but it will make me happy!"

My happy news is threefold; today it's my pay day, it's the start of Navy Days so lots of air displays over the long weekend which I love, and this weekend I am hoping to spend some savings on a new car!

Firstly congratulations to those above :)
Good news for me... Firstly we had my partners children to stop for the first time. Despite mishaps we had fantastic times and they really enjoyed themselves.
Secondly, we purchased a HDTV LCD flat screen today, and its wonderful.

That's great news Salsa. We had a family BBQ on Saturday to celebrate Ruth's 18th and to give people a chance to say goodbye before she goes off to uni.
The weather had been bad all week and I had not been able to cut the grass. The day started cloudy and got worse. The sky went very black but at 2.30pm I decided to cut the grass anyway and hubbie got the BBQ out. Suddenly the clouds cleared, the sun came out and it shone all afternoon and into the evening!
Everyone met up at the pub today for a family Sunday lunch and it stayed sunny so we had a nice family weekend.
