My hotel in Canada was right by the corner of two busy shopping streets and everyday there were reps giving freebies away.
One day they were giving away bags of crisps called Sun Chips; they look like Frazzles. But dissapointingly they were 'garden salsa' flavour and tasted nothing like Frazzles. 
Another day we were given shampoo samples, they looked like our Sunsilk range. Mine said for 'poofy' hair; combat your 'poofiness'. I guess they don't call it that here (frizzy, maybe?) but I was slightly insulted they must have thought my hair was 'poofy' in the first place. 
We also sampled things such as iced tea 
and raspberry drink

Here's a tip... they only give a certain amount away each day so apply on the stroke of midnight and you are more like to get your free sample.
That is what I did and they were delicious (the ones my Son permitted me to eat that is!) You get one of each flavour. It is quite a generous give away

I got a lovely purse and bag from Florence and Fred. They have some nice stuff but ours never have shoes in size 3. The assistant told me size 5 is most popular so they stock plenty of those.
Well buy size 5 shoes and stuff the front of them with the packaging from all those free samples you are getting.

Jelly beans... you have to try at Midnight to be in with a chance, that is when they start the dishing out the new quota for the day.
I managed to get some, I think it was about 00:01 when I applied. Fill the form in ready but don't submit til just after midnight.... Good luck

Really? I did this yesterday and they just gave me the difference I paid. After I got home I realised one of my BOGOF offers did not go through as well. So next time I'm there I shall complain about that!

So I was at Tesco today before work and I talked to the lady about the 'promises' at customer services. Remember someone here said that if the price scans differently at the till from what is on the shelf then you get the product free? Well that didn't happen for me. She was reluctant to talk to me because customer services doesn't open until 8am (despite the shop being open 24hrs)
Anyway she said that if the price scans differently from what it says on the shelf you don't get the item free unless you pay for it and queue up at customer services. What I did wrong was to mention it when it rang up wrong at the till and they just corrected it. So remember that for next time folks!
Mind, if you shop out of customer services' opening hours I guess you would have to make another trip so the whole promise seems a bit of a swizz!

Yesterday she tried to fob me off about the chicken saying it was only the ones with sage and onion stuffing so I opened the packet and poited to the stuffing and said "Oh what is that then?"
She tutted and said "Oh I'll just give it you then"
You have to really stand your ground with them and if they start trying to get out of it or try to just fob you off with a refund point at the "OUR PROMISE" sign.
If they didn't want to give all this free stuff away they shouldn't have had that as their policy

The voucher was originally in the newspaper... when asked if it is from the paper/a photo copy reply it is printed from a website, usually the store will allow it. If they do not then just try a different store

Got my free CDM today in Tesco, barcode wouldn't scan but they put it through as a "None scan" whatever that is. They didn't mention anything about photocopy but I had cut it out round the dotted line so it wasn't so obvious.
I got one chunk of the bar before DS devoured it... not worried though cos I'll just go a different shop tomorrow while he's at school and get some more

Apparently... Thresher's price WITH the discount coupon are still more expensive than Tesco for wine and champagne at the moment because Tesco are doing 25% off or something
