Anyone remember this? It was the most amazing chocolate bar I've ever tasted in my life. It came in a gold wrapper with blue writing and had like a half hexagonal card holding the chocolate with was oval shaped and like a crispy wicker chocolate with a moose type centre. I was addicted to these in 1992. I asked Nestle and they said that they came out early 1992 and were discontinued in late 1992 because of a high cost of making them and relitively low sales. But I reckon they didn't even give it enough time, they could have put the price up a bit, I wouldn't have minded, it was truely the BEST chocolate bar EVER!

Sounds lovely. Wish I could have one.

I don't remember these at all. I think you were dreaming.

I don't think I am, considering the amount of other threads about them. Seriously, I can't believe how short lived they were because I much of eaten about 5 years worth at the time, they were the best chocolate bar ever created!

It's hard to know whether or not to reply to jokey comments, I tried to gloss over it.

Sorry to confuse. i was joking. There must have been fifty or more posts and enquiries about this bar over the years. It just goes to show how mad they were to get rid of it.
-
Absolutely right, what's scary is, they (Chocolate companies) can all of a sudden get rid of popular bars like Wispa, then what's next?
-
They can't have been that popular.
-
They can't have been that popular.
ok
-
wispa become Daliy milk bubby,
everything got REBRAND to help carbury band.
-
They can't have been that popular.
Why?
CDM was a marketing decision to make the most eaten chocolate brand. It had nothing to do with Wispa's success or otherwise.
Incidentally, I notice Mars is being advertised as Britains favourite chocolate bar. When did this happen?

I thought Kitkat was the biggest seller. But I suppose Mars could try and argue the Kitkat is a biscuit.

What I am saying is Cadbury didn't create CDM with Picnic, CDM with Fuse, CDM with Starbar, CDM with Boost, CDM with Time Out... if Wispa was that popular they wouldn't have incorporated it into that range.
-
I would suggest those other bars would have required big changes to the CDM line. Obviously Bubbly doesn't. Black-Knight38928.5405671296

Possibly.
Anyway, good job Pandapants isn't here or we would be publicly flogged for going off topic. Back to the Secret.

It might be one of those love-hate relationships you have with her!
Do you remember what happened in The League of Gentlemen with Pauline and Ross?

-
That Ross looks quite cute.
