Title: Pringles
Post by: on July 06, 2006, 06:53:44 pm
Why don't they make a pickled onion flavour?

Because there's little demand for it?

Pickled Onion Monster Munch has always been popular.

I suppose though Pringles is a US brand and pickled onion seems a distinctively British flavour.

Pringles Flavours of the world?

I emailed them several years ago about it.

Reply? No. Why would a multinational reply to a pleb?

I can't stand pickled onions but I think the flavour would be quite popular. I suppose it's because the makers of Pringles see it as a premium brand into which pickled onions do not fit.

I love pickled onion flavour crisps. I very seldom eat them though, as they smell so strong they're quite antisocial!

Do Pringles do cheese and onion flavour?

Yes there are cheese and onion Pringles.

In cheap shops you can pick up the American Cheese flavour. They are nice.

I think my favourite flavours are Sour Cream and Onion and Paprika.

Frazzles are nice but the Tesco version of bacon rashers is gorgeous.

What does everyone think of Kettle Chips?  I live right near the factory and occasionally get a whiff of cooking fat.  They have just brought out ridged ones, the salt and vinegar are divine.

I love pringles, all crisps in fact, but not the low fat pringles, i think they taste stale.  But then i have an innate dislike of anything healthy like celery

M&S used to do burger bites. I had forgotten all about them but Kev's mention brought back a nice childhood memory of them so thanks

Does anyone remember crisps, back in the 80s that were hollow pigs, bacon flavour i guess, everyone says I have made them up, maybe they were all just a wierd 20/20 induced dream!
