You go to the doctors with a lump and he refers you to hosptial there and then. You see the consultant who confirms you have a lump that needs urgent investigation. You need a scan and a biopsy.

How long do you have to wait?????

6 months on the nhs and 2 days if you go private?

That's shocking.  I would rather not be told I need a scan and biopsy and then be called back by the dr once they have an appointment for me.
