You go to the library for a book you really want to read and the only copy they have has something sticky on the cover. What do you do?
I don't read that kind of book.
i love libraries and I know how hard the staff work to ensure that sticky, nasty deposits on books are removed or the book replaced.
However, if this happened to me I would go to Waterstones and buy a copy!
Gc Ilibraries can spend hours in them.
Doing what?
Is it a book about sticks, perchance? You go to the library for a book you really want to read and the only copy they have has something sticky on the cover. What do you do?
I like libraries. I used to take my boys there regularly when they were little. We waded our way through loads of kids books, story tapes and videos.
I have also often promoted the library service through work. Where else can you get free access to the internet? Bargain!
Great for people on benefit for job hunting when they simply don't have the funds for computers or internet at home.
Blimey! As if by magic my computer 'threw me out' immediatley as I posted that last one!
Do you think it wants me to keep quiet about free internet access?
There isn't one. It was just something I thought we could discuss. My phobias won't allow me to go the library.
What about money Lou, do you handle cash? It's probably changed hands more times than a library book.
