This may be an oldy that is common knowledge on here but i'm stuck.
-
Yes, you will need to wait for one of the "oldies" to come on and give you an answer.
-
I'm thinking.....................
-
Were wildlife bars sold separately?
-
Were wildlife bars sold separately?
Yes.
-
Disappointed to say the least
Well, I now know and it was the Skippy bar.
-
Well do you know the answer???
-
The one without salmonella?
-
-
Is it sold seperately now?
-
I think this is a bogus question.
-
i was just thinking the same thing...
-
Disappointed to say the least
Well, I now know and it was the Skippy bar.
Er... there's the answer isn't it?
-
Is that the end then?
-

If the Skippy bar wasn't available separately, how come we have this old post:
Can you help me, i often reminisce about a chocolate bar i used to eat when doing my paper round 20 years ago. It was called Skippy, it had a blue wrapper with red and yellow writing. They where a bit thicker than a curly wurley with a biscuit base a thin layer of caramel all wrapped up with a coating of chocolate. I have searched on Google but cant find any references, all it came up with was some peanut butter bar.
Am i going mad?
Did this person eat a selection box every day?
-
i rember skippy bars yes i'm that old
no really my auntie worked for cadburys and brought loads of stuff home for us so i really remember the old cadbury stuff from 70s
i also didn't eat a selection box every day but was lucky as auntie brought reject ones home
-
So, what were Skippy bars like then? What did they contain? I'd love to know and can't imagine why I don't really remember them as I go back much further than the 70s!
-
Was it this?

-
But these are not Cadburys. They are obviously Australian.

Skippy bars were made by Cadbury's and apparently resembled a single Twix or Drifter type bar - very chewy. So I've been told!
-
Why? Have you forgotten?
