Title: Ebay
Post by: loulou on June 10, 2006, 03:32:04 pm

An official wedding invitation to Britney Spears and Kevin Federline's 2004 wedding has been sold on eBay for $2,150.

What's the point of buying that?

At least it's better than littering music stores with her albums.

No I would never buy a large item or an expensive item from ebay. Why do you ask minty?

Buying or selling? I wouldn't bother trying to sell any of the items you mention purely because of the amount you'd have to charge in postage, not to mention the difficulty of delivery. You'd be better off with the small ads.

I agree. People would bid then quibble over the postage.

If it's something you really like and the seller has a decent feedback rating, go for it.

That's the kind of beds they have in Lumley Castle. Look at the sellers bad feedback, people complaining they have paid and not received. Avoid him.loulou38880.9598611111

I have a four poster but need to buy new drapes and can't find any. Debenhams have a made to measure service but I dread to think how much they charge.

Not sure of size and drapes go round bed. I see Argos had some drapes but only in pink and lilac and they were the ones that just hang at the corners. I wanted white again.loulou38880.9703125

Argos. I've had it about 3 yrs. It was dead cheap. I originally had a pine bed , not 4 poster. So when i wanted a four poster i wanted something different from pine again. the coloured stones in it are lilac, pink and pale blue.

I heard there was software or some sort of program you can install to 'lurk' for you and bid at the last minute, has anyone else heard of this?

I am a 'lurker' and if I am at my computer when something I want to bid on is ending then I wait until the dying seconds to bid. I haven't bid on any headphones though Minty!

I have bought a car off Ebay in the past and it was ok... I resold it on Ebay too when i got my current one.

DH has bought and sold two motorbikes on Ebay.

I think the first thing we ever sold on there was our leather sofa!

I have become a bit of an Ebay junkie now tho

Still it keeps me out of the pub lol

http://www.auctionstealer.com

You don't have to pay for it you get 3 free swipes a week. I have used it lots and won loads of auctions with it. It bids in the last 10 seconds for you so you don't even have to be at your puter.

Hope this helps
