Title: Two n’twos
Post by: millie on April 18, 2006, 04:25:05 pm

Does anyone remember this bar??  It was square and had about 16 small segments / squares per bar.  I'm pretty sure they were called Two n'Twos - each square had a whitish fondant on top and brown on the bottom.

They may have been by Rowntree but maybe not....  they disappeared when I was a child so we're talking mid to late seventies or early eighties....

Anyone remember them?

Sorry, should have said hello first!!

I just got a little carried away with the thought that I may finally meet another person who remembers these bars as none of my friends do...

What I would do now for a two n' two....

Hi Millie, nice to meet someone so enthusiastic about chocolate! But sorry, your bar description doesn't ring any bells with me.

Hi Cherry_Ripe, I grew up in Ireland - maybe they were only on the Irish market...

Hmm, or did I perhaps dream them up.   They were delish - perhaps I could sell the idea to a chocolate company and make my fortune!!

Hi Millie and welcome.  There were/are quite a few bars that only appeared in Ireland.  I don't remember the one you describe but our resident expert on 70's chocolate is on holiday at the moment and she might well remember it.

Oops just spotted your reply Goldencup!  Sorry for delay in responding.  Hopefully the CR expert will be able to help.

Thanks,

Hi Millie, welcome. I don't remember this bar at all so I imagine it was only available in Ireland. it sounds nice though.
