I see they have changed the packaging AGAIN!
I wonder if the recipes have changed too?

I used to love Poppets. Something about the little packet and dropping them into your palm. Raisan ones were my favourite. Not seen them for yonks.

I remember the mint ones; it was funny how shiny the chocolate was.
-
I like poppets too, mum always got me the raisin ones when I was little.
-
i ilike the toffee ones although they hurt your teeth!!
-
Poppets always remind me of swimming lessons from school. They were the only thing they sold in the swimming pool vending machine. I haven't had them for years though.
-
I only ever had them at the cinema!
-
I'm addicted to the toffee and the raisin ones. At the cinema I get the toffee ones in a big bag.
-
I would like them to bring back the fruit ones!

-
I remember the fruit ones too, they were nice.
-
sent an email to fox's confectionery asking would they consider
bringing back the fruit cream poppets. This was their reply:
"Unfortunately in the near future we do not have any plans to reintroduce this product to our current range
.
However during late 2006 we will be looking at the poppets range in
full to establish where we might take the brand to in the future. I
will bear you comments in mind regarding the fruit creams when
considering our future proposals"
Hope they do consider my comments as I would really like to see these back on the shelves!
-
I bet it's a case of the fruit creams being more difficult to manufacture than single flavour Poppets that governs whether they are produced or not. I think it's the same for Frys Five Centres. It's more difficult to produce a multi-flavoured bar than a single flavoured one.

I was ready on the Nestle website that it takes an hour for them to make a Drifter
-
There is another bar they have ruined.

Same here. And whats wrong with Drifter oldspice? I think Drifters are lovely. One of the few decent bars that Nestle make.
-
Drifters were the business when Rowntrees made them but like everything else that has been taken over by the swiss brand Nestle (which seems to be everything) they are now crap. Anyone remember Treats?
-
yes me
-
They were very nice. Especially the toffee ones.

I still think Drifters are nice.
An hour?! I smell sh*te!!!!!!!!!
-
The chocolate on Drifters is cheap tasting and the bar has become cloyingly sweet.
