any piercing anywhere in the face (bar the ears) is not right. especially lip-piercings.

What about nose piercings? You see some girls who look like they have a bogey permanently welded to their nostril!

I understand the tonge piercing in women is to enhance fellatio.  I have never found it make any difference to me.  It's the way the girl uses her lips and her tonge (pierced or not) that makes a good blow job.

I think some women actually do things for their own enjoyment and enhancement Bounty, not just to please men.

I would not have my tongue pierced but I suppose if people want to it's at their own risk.

I used to work with somebody who had her tongue pierced. She ended up living on baby food for about a week or two

What is it with people with pierced tongues? They seem to fiddle about with it all the time. They end up looking like they have a facial tick, or even slightly lizardesque (I know, made up word!) with all that sticking out of the tongue and clacking it against their teeth. Yuk, yuk, yuk!

Apparently dentists are against tongue piercings as they say they are the cause of too many chipped teeth.

I can believe that. My friend has a pierced tongue and all I hear is click click click. Sometimes I pray she swallows it when she keeps showing it off to everyone as if she is the first ever person to have it done.

BBC News' Toby Sealey reports from a body piercing centre

The practice has become increasingly fashionable in recent years and has been made famous by stars like Scary Spice and the Princess Royal's daughter Zara Phillips.

But the British Dental Association (BDA) says tongue piercing can cause infections, speech impediments, breathing problems and broken teeth.

It says piercing always carries a risk of infection, but that risk is greater with mouth piercing because of the closeness of the airway.

Infection can cause the tongue to swell, blocking or restricting the airway.

In addition, bacteria under the tongue often spread quickly and can lead, in extreme cases, to the potentially fatal toxic shock syndrome or blood poisoning.

I am against it, I couldn't ever imagine the pain!

I agree that it is bad for the teeth and my friend was always clicking his!

I have kissed someone wtih their tongue pierced and it wasn't any different.

Are you referring to a 'Prince Albert' (a penis piercing) which is supposed to heighten sexual enjoyment for the woman (although i can't imagine how)?

i have got my tongue pierced and i dont click it against my teeth, people act differently with it i used to play with mine when i first got it done but once you get used to it its not so bad. as for the blowjobs my partner says i do it better with the bar in because it feels more sensational. i had it done because it looked good but if i could change it i would it gets quite annoying.
