Title: Eastereggs
Post by: loulou on February 25, 2006, 09:44:23 am
Looking around Asda yesterday at Easter eggs I was very disappointed. I long to see an egg with the sweets inside. There's far too much packaging on eggs trying to make them look bigger.

Definately a bit of a rip off - but loads of fun and still exciting! I can't wait to get stuck into Jessie's Easter Eggs again this year! (She always gets more than me!)

If I'm ever feeling sad a packet of chocolate buttons can always cheer me up.

Well let's see... this is a chocolate forum. Easter Eggs are generally made of chocolate. Where the f**k do you think the idea came from?

I always used to have a Cadbury's Caramel one or a Creme Egg one.

I have moved onto Lindt now.

I can't help thinking Easter eggs are more packaging than substance. Some of them are really pretty, but I think I would feel guilty spoiling them by eating them!

I do participate for my boys , but don't bother for me. When it comes down to it I would rather spend the same on a big bar or box of choccies and scoff the lot!

I know all the stuff about how little chocolate you're actually getting compared with a normal bar, but there's still something about easter eggs.  I usually treat myself to one half-price after Easter!

I like those Mougat caskets filled with chocolates you get from Thorntons but they are expensive.

Same here, in truth you don't get a lot but I still love the novelty of it all.
