Never liked them. An excess of substandard chocolate in my view.
Do they still make them even?
-
Used to like them but they are another product Nestle ruined. And yes, they still exist, and now in several different varieties!
-
interesting...
funnily enough, i don't think i've had one in years - and i've never tried the biscuit one.
yorkies always tasted stale for some reason.
-
That's exactly how they taste! They were great bars when Rowntrees launched them but over the years Nestle have reduced the quality of the chocolate to such an extent that they are now a sad shadow of themselves.
So bad is Nestle chocolate these days that before long they will lose the right to call it chocolate.
-
The original Raisin & Biscuit Yorkie was delicious. But now of course all varieties are shadows of their former Rowntrees selves.
-
I still like them
-
I haven't had a Yorkie in ages, but I don't think there's anything wrong with them. They're quite satisfying if you're in the mood for a big chunk of regular chocolate, sans caramel or peanuts or anything fancy.
-
I'm sorry, you may enjoy it, but Yorkie can in no way be thought of as chocolate.

I agree - it's more like chocolate 'flavour'.
-
i tried the hot rum one at christmas
had texture of gritty fat and the most artificial and revolting taste i have ever tried , i must not of been alone in my revulsion as in poundland the other day they where selling them 3 huge bars for a pound
-
Least they tried to make something different.

To be fair that's probably more to do with it being a Christmas product.

I agree that Yorkie isnt the best, but its not as bad as some of Hersheys chocolate bars. They use something like 10% cocoa solids whereras even Nestle use around 20% in their bars.
-
Hersheys chocolate bars
Is that why Hersheys tastes like vomit?
-
Quite possibly!
-

-
I remember when you could bite into a Yorkie and nearly crack your teeth! My thing was to stick one in the fridge; it would last for ages when finally taken out again. Nowadays, they're just like most other chocolate - no taste and really unsatisfying
Nestle should hang their heads in shame!
-
Yorkie is now like cooking chocolate. It's vile.
Nestle is evil - evil - EVIL!!
-
I couldn't agree more.
