Title: Un-happy Easter :(
Post by: lemonzinger on February 20, 2006, 11:54:21 pm

Well, it would appear that Cadbury's has discontinued the Truffle Egg, and Dream Egg. I don't know whether they were exclusive to Canada or not, as Cadbury's products are different in Canada and Europe. Nonetheless, I've been looking for these two (they were never easy to come by, but I think they're actually gone, now), and have found the stores carrying the traditional Cream Egg, Caramilk Egg, Maple Caramilk Egg, Wunderbar Egg, and Peanut Butter Egg (which is repulsive).
As well, I think that Milka's has dropped the chocolate variant of their L'il Scoops egg. They've been packaged in fours for as long as I've been eating them: two chocolate cream, and two white cream. Now they come with four white cream eggs in a package.
Needless to say, this won't be as happy an Easter as others!

I used to love getting a chocolate egg in a character mug as a boy.

The ones with the little jelly sweets were nice.

There is a Simpsons mug with an egg in it at M&S.

Not just a chocolate egg, a M&S chocolate egg!

I reckon M and S chocolate is probably the best own brand chocolate.

Their chocolate is nice. I had their own brand chocolate coins at Christmas and they are the best coins I have tasted for a long time

This Easter they have 2 chocolate ducks with bonnets on, one pink and one blue. I bet they taste yum!

Their Swiss Chocolate is also very nice.

Hi everyone!

Best chocky egg by far was the Toffee and Mallow one.

Does anyone know a similar one?

Hello.  No, there is sadly nothing similar to the Toffee and Mallow egg.  They were yum.

They were fantastic. I am amazed at how many enquiries we get about these eggs. of course, they were made by the Mackintoshes arm of the Rowntrees company. i wonder what ever happended to them??
