The smells I love are the smell of a very dry pavement in summer when it starts to rain, the smell of log fires in the air when you take a walk on a winter evening, Johnson's baby shampoo, vanilla and roses.

Also the smell of the laundrette!

That's one of those smells you either love or hate. Personally I like it too, it reminds me of playing outside when I was little.

Used to love the smell of my kids as babies when freshly bathed

Clean hair

Boots essential aromatherapy pillow spray in ylang ylang and Patchouli oil, very restful.

A nicely fragranced man will always turn my head in a crowd ( a good after shave, essential)

And for me... I like Eternity or Elizabeth Arden Green Tea

cant say i like smoke, but smokey pubs are the way they should be. you NEED the smell of burning tobacco and stale beer to make a pub what it is. so i guess i kinda do, yeah. (i aint no smoker tho! cant stand the stuff!)

You know that's what I was thinking, and looking back at what babygirl said it's unclear if she made a homophobic comment or not.

I am not having an 'online' row with anyone i joined here to talk about chocolate and fact/fiction topics...

Just because i had a strong opinion over the smoking ban meant alot of you thought it was the green light to be offensive??

I respect everyones opinion and thought mine would be taken as AN OPINION....

Ky jelly and poppers.... Not only for use by gay men are they.....And i am not a homophobic.

Maybe he uses it on his partner and likes the smell?? I thought the topic was smells you love??

And poppers are a little bottle of liquid that is 'supposed' to relax you and your muscles, you can get it in clubs even ann summers...

Amyl/butyl nitrate (poppers) is a powerful drug that can give you an almighty burst of dizzy energy for a couple of minutes.

The rush kicks in immediately, and for a few moments you'll feel like the bass drum has got inside your head, the lights have been turned up to a zillion watts and your heart is attempting a solo flight.

Generally coming in small glass bottles - or, more rarely, glass phials - costing between £2-£5, amyl nitrate is normally snorted out of the open bottle, although some people like to get adventurous by inhaling a cigarette that has been dipped into the liquid (do not light the cigarette! Amyl nitrate is is a highly volatile flammable liquid!)

First produced in 1857 as a treatment for angina, amyl nitrate evaporates at room temperature. The vapour released causes your veins and arteries to dilate resulting in the blood flowing faster through the heart and the brain.

On the dancefloor it feels like you've been hit by a percussive thunderbolt, and if you're having sex it feels like your sexual organs have grown to Herculean proportions. The effect only lasts for a few moments and you might feel a little light headed for a minute or so afterwards.

Some people react differently to amyl and suffer pounding headaches, dizziness and a flushed face, or feel like they're starring in 'Scanners'
