What do you like on your toast?


My favourites are:


peanut butter, marmite (in small amounts0, lemon curd, good qaulity ginger conserve


For a more substantial meal:


poached eggs or beans with good quality bacon.

On my toast I like marmite, philadelphia cheese or daiylea. I am not a jam or marmalade lover but occasionally buy lemon curd.


Poached eggs or spaghetti hoops are good too.

toast is my favorite food  fresh thick cut white bread with either  marmite, marmalade, peanut ,cheese , butter, egg, bacon or just nice butter, i have toast at least 9 times a week ....breakfast every day and poached egg on toast for dinner about twice a week when everyone else is having things i dont like.

I love beans on toast, and scrambled eggs - or both together


My favourite toasted sarnies are cheese and onion.

Oh and I forgot that I love sardines on tost too. And who can resist good quality toast with best butter (even if it is a heart attack on a plate)

I like toast with practically anything on top - beans, eggs, Marmite, jam, crunchy peanut butter, etc etc - but it has to be wholemeal toast!

I like wholemeal bread toasted and I wait for it to cool before I put any topping on it.

My favourites are butter, jam, crunchy peanut butter, chocolate spread or dairylea.

Beans, hoops or spag bol are good for a meal.

Does anyone remember Pilsbury Toaster Pockets? They were like a combination of sealed toasted sandwiches and savoury pop tarts. I used to love the cheese ones

Don't remember these but in Lakeland you can buy reusable plastic pockets which you can put sandwiches in then put them in the toaster so you don't need a proper sandwich toaster.

I knew someone who could get Toastabags at a discount so I asked him to get them. The MD of the company heard I was a writing student and asked me to do a sample review, as they needed someone to do their copywriting for 2 - 6 weeks. That was five years ago and I'm still there!
