And at what age do you stop politely ignoring the person you are sitting next to on the bus, and decide it's okay to tell them about everything from your daughter's hysterectomy to what a slut your next door neighbour is in intimate detail?

Oh dear

My Granddad has suffered two strokes which have left him unable to do anything. He 'lives' in a nursing home and not in his own house with my Gran. At the moment he has pneumonia and looks very bad. It's a great shame because he'd only just retired and hadn't really had time to enjoy his life before he was taken ill.

I woud do anything to make her better but I know I can't. It also means she can not have an operation on her tyhroid which she has been having problems with.

Do you go and visit your grandad cherry?

Yes I go and visit my Granddad, sometimes I take him a few squares of chocolate. He can eat it if it's broken up, and he doesn't push it away so I think he likes it!

Its nice that you go and visit him. I would do the same if my nan or grandad were in a home.

One of our neightbours has old timers disease and non of his children go and visit him in his nursing home! I think its disgraceful.

None of my Granddad's other grandchildren ever go and visit him, there are three aged 18-20.

I think thats awful really. I don't see my nan and grandad as much as i used to now I work but I always send them my love and if I have made a cake mum takes a bit with her when she goes.
