Are these still around? Has anyone had one lately? After waiting so long for its return and it being a bit of a disappointment I wondered if Nestle will consider it a flop and shelve it? If so, will the fall-out from that prevent companies like Cadbury from reviving old chocolate bars??

-
I found two in the bottom of my handbag the other day. Sadly they had clearly had a hard time in the dark carverns of my bag and had to be re located to the bin.
-
I see them in my newsagent still.
-
Does anyone eat them after all the fuss we made about getting them back??
-
I really enjoyed the few bars I had. I only ever saw them in cybercandy.
-
I got mine from Hello Sweetie. Whatever happend to her???
-
She went on a diet and rebranded as Hello Celery.

I have seen Texans on ebay, and in a local Tesco express recently.
-
We still have Texans at Britishcandy.com but they are now limited stock
-
Do you think the re-launch has been a success?
-
I'd be surprised if it had, the complete cock-up they made of it! Launch date August 22nd - finally reached stores in October!
-
When Texan re launched I couldn't wait to try one, had one and was disappointed, had another 6 (not all at once) to make sure and even though I see them in my local newsagent I never buy them again.
-
More or less what I did. Got a batch from Hello Sweetie, ate them, was disappointed and, although they were not totally nasty, I didn't bother buying anymore.
-
It wouldn't be like that if Cabana came back though.
-
Or would it...?

It was a disappointing re launch. If it hadn't been for this site, IRN and snackspot, I would never have known they were being relaunched
-
We are now down to our last few boxes of Texans at Britishcandy.com. Texans are now very, very hard to find at the different suppliers we use.
Since they was relaunched last summer I hardly ever saw them in any shops other than Peterborough Woolies and the odd corner shop. There was no problems with supply as we have sold 100's of boxes, maybe the shop keepers didnt bother with them because they didnt know how popular they would be or just keep on buying the same old stuff in every week and dont bother with anything new unless its on special offer!
Im very tempted to keep the last box of Texans for myself
-
I know I would!
I never saw them in the shops down here. Only in CyberCandy
-
I saw them in Tesco and in the petrol station shop.
-
I never saw them in the shops here either. If a kind forum member hadn't sent me one (they know who they are) I would never have tried one.
-
That is where Nestle got it VERY wrong! They needed far more advertising as well.
-
I wasn't impressed with them at all.

They had plenty of 'em in Woolies today.
-
I brought 10 on Monday night
-
Plenty of them in the shops here.
-
I love Texan. I am one of the ones that has rattled on for years about them, trying to explain them to friends who are too young to remember them. I was over the moon when I spotted them them in Woolies! And they tasted as good as I remembered! And I can't believe that someone else used to freeze them, i thought I was the only ine!!
Luckily for me my partner does listen to me and got me two boxes for Christmas but I'm down to half a box now and am beginning to panic about waiting another twenty years to taste them again.
-
Hope you are not disappointed!
-
ihad one last year they are stilll available and as yum as ever lobby the sweetshops
-
Last year isn't still available, is it?
-
My local newsagents are still selling Texans.
-

-
I'll get you some if you want.
-
