Title: THE JOY OF SHOPPING
Post by: loulou on February 01, 2006, 12:24:21 am

Don't you love shopping for clothes , shoes, earrings, lipstick, eeyore slippers, fluffy jamas, perfume and sh*t you want but don't really need? I do. Don't you find non food shopping very therapeutic whereas supermarket shopping is a pain in the arse? Discuss. (See if this gets more replies than my jacket potato post)

Can't say I spend that much on lipstick or perfume, but clothes shopping does give me a buzz. I love being weighed down with bags.

I totally agree lou. The only thing I don't like buying from your list is shoes. This is because I have funny-shaped feet and can't get any that don't make me look 82 from the kneews down.

I don't like clothes shopping in shops as there are few shops who sell clothes in my proportions but I like clothes shopping from catalogues. I do enjoy high street shoe shopping though! In fact I don't mind supermarket shopping at big supermarkets, I like looking at the choice of stuff available.

I totally agree with you Lou (except for the Eeyore slippers perhaps).  You did miss out one important bit though - bags!  And I also have trouble shopping for shoes - at the moment I don't seem to like any of them except for the ones in a local shop called 'Funky Feet' and they're mostly too expensive for me.

I agree Lou but I am saving for a place to live so if I go out spending I feel really guilty

I have been feeding my addiction with eBay
