Does any one remember a choc (from cadbury?) called spiral(s)?
it was a twist of chocolate that you could use as a straw
thanks,
Jo

I think they are still avaliable. Have you tried in Woolies?
-
We have Spira in stock at my work's shop!
-
I had one about a year ago and I saw I have seen them on the shelves.
-
Spira - Still around, but not always easy to find. My friend who knows I like chocolate bought me one once, saying 'look, I've found a new bar!'
-
Aww bless
-
smurfy did you pretend you hadn't seen one before?
-
-
well i hope he didn't upset his friend by saying he had already had one before.
-
I like them there better the twrils!!! Much better.
-
I like both. But I think Spira would be better with a filling like soft mint or turksih delight or some other fondant filling. Otherwise they're just Dairy Milk with an interesting shape. At least Twirl has some texture

smurfy did you pretend you hadn't seen one before?
I did. I couldn't upset Hero.

-
Spiras are definitely still around. I think you get them more in newsagents etc than big shops.
-
I saw Spiras at Wilkinsons this weekend

I did. I couldn't upset Hero.
David brings me bars thinking they are brand new. I say aww thanks babe, can't wait to taste it!
-
My mommy does that too.
-
Not seen a Spira for ages. Much preferred them to Twirls.
-
Spira was Initally launched in the NE of England on a regional launch/trial basis. It actually pre-dated Twirl.
It has now been discontinued and i would doubt if it would return.
-
Are you sure it has been discontinued?
Twirl was also launched on a trial basis in the North.
-
I had a Twirl this afternoon, straight from the fridge with a nice cup of tea.
-
Spira's had more texture to them than any other chocolate!! Nice cup of tea and a spira to drink it through!!! Awesome!!! Bring them back!! The amount i used to buy should have kept them in production!
