Title: Spar - named and shamed
Post by: smurfboy on November 19, 2005, 02:01:20 pm
Spar are notoriously expensive, but for a convenience store this is not unusual. Therefore I was surprised to see they had After Eight Straws for £1.99 as they are everywhere else. They obviously caught on and have now put them up to £2.49. Cheeky enough you'd think, but no - to make it worse, they have a big 'REAL DEALS' sign drawing attention to the price! It's bad enough they are selling them at a rip-off price, but to pretend it's a good deal is disgusting!!!

There is a Spar on the Strand right next to Charing Cross, if you think local Spars are expensive, wait until you see this one!
