Title: Duncans
Post by: xbubblegumslapx on November 15, 2005, 06:21:29 pm

Maybe this only applies to people in Scotland but does anyone remember Duncans of Scotland Chocolate? I can't seem to find it anywhere!

Any help would be much obliged

A company called Duncans made the original Whipped Cream Walnut (now known as Walnut Whip). I thin they were taken over by Rowntrees and then Nestle. The one in Scotland might either be a different company or Nestle may have revised the brand name to cash in on the nostagia market.

the chocolate was soooooooo beautiful and they had old firm bars that had Celtic/Rangers on them. i didn't care, i needed the choco!

I read that they went bust, but if they're website is up and running, it's a good sign, right?

i remember when my (now ex) boyfriend worked in the army stores and he would bring home army rations for us ( we were young and poor!) The tins were mostly unmarked and a mystery, so imagine my extreme delight when I opened some of the tins to find cakes of Duncan`s chocolate! fab.

I have heard the chocolate was in plain white wrappers and was lovely .
