Title: McVities Chocolate Digestives
Post by: oldspice on September 06, 2005, 10:36:51 pm
I found MacVities Chocolate Digestives with Mint in Sainsburys this weekend. They are very nice. i think they taste better slightly chilled - but the mint flavour is in any case quite strong and works well with the chocolate. Went down well with a nice cup of tea.

I can only get orange and caramel ones, both with
milk chocolate so I'm  consoling myself with some
Thornton's Alpinis. I'll try again tomorrow for the mint
ones.

The mint ones do sounds nice. I imagine they leave a mint taste in your mouth afterwards?

I wasnt impressed with the orange flavour, so hope these are a little better.

It's about time they did white chocolate digestives.

Mmmm that would be very nice!

I don't really like the sound of the orange ones. I am a bit funny when it comes to things being flavoured with orange.

McVities Chocolate Digestives with Mint.

Add the caramel to this from the other variety (plain choc ones) and I am sure fido would be looking for his testicles.

Is it just me or did they do dark chocolate digestives with caramel in too? I'm sure I saw some at the start of the year.

That's been mentioned on here before so I expect you're right.  I haven't seen them but then I don't look at the biscuit aisle much.

I see plain chocolate digestives today at work. No caramel in them though! Work are too tight
