Title: Cadbury’s Luxury Roses
Post by: oldspice on September 03, 2005, 07:28:39 pm

There were mini boxes of these for £1.69 in Woolies today so I thought I'd give them a try. There were five chocolates in the box and this is how I got on:

Dark Chocolate Nougat - 'Great' I thought. I like nougat. There will be dark chocolate with nice chewy nougat inside. WRONG! What I actually got was chocolate sludge with crnchy bits inside. Where is the nougat Cadburys???

Stawberry Bomb - Well, it didn't blow up in my mouth! White chocolate on outside tasted like maragine. No chocolate taste al all. No strawberry taste either but pink stuff inside.

Caramel - Soft and pleasant - but wait a minute - what are those crunchy bits supposed to be? Unidentified. Chocolate tasted of nothing again, just soft sludge.

Chocolate Surprise - What was the surprise? Just a gloopy filling that tasted of nothing.

The other chocolate i gave to my daughter who promptly spat it out.

All in all I failed to detect anything luxurious about these at all. In fact I would say ordinary Roses are superior to these in every way.

The chocolate was awful.

What's going on cadburys? You can do much better than this sh*t.

Daylight robbery. I think you should write a letter of complaint.

I do prefer original roses as well. Better value for money for a start and tastier chocolates!
